At Math Hooligans, we amuse ourselves with math. We have shown the gloomy traditional ways of learning math, the door and have let a breath of fresh air in. We have rid ourselves of solemn and reserved looking mathematicians and have replaced them with fun-loving people who enjoy math both as teachers and students.

Math Hooligans intends to put excitement back in mathematics.Our goal is to take out the gloom and doom of the old way of learning math and bring in games instead to learn the basics of mathematics. Not only do we have fun learning new math concepts, but we also strive to score high on the state exams. We like to do math in our heads while we are playing.  We solve different types of grade-level word problems mandated by the state, while entertaining ourselves with the fundamentals of mathematics. 

Our methods tap into different types of intelligence such as visual, logical, linguistic, and kinesthetic. We use the results of different studies from several centers of high achievement and strive to bring a deep understanding of the concepts through visual reinforcements, manipulatives, hands on activities, games, and high level thinking activities.
